  • Intended Use: Designed to securely mount Riley Wood and Fiber Art fiber tools — including hackles, raddles, and warping boards — to a table or flat surface with a defined edge. Provides stable mounting for safe fiber preparation and studio use.
  • Not a Toy: Keep out of reach of children under the age of 12. Contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard.
  • Potential Hazards: Pinch risk may occur when attaching or removing the hook. Use caution to avoid finger pinching. Only use on stable, flat surfaces with a defined edge. Do not use on glass, fragile, or uneven surfaces. Ensure hooks are securely attached before use.
  • Usage Instructions: Identify a flat surface with an edge (such as a table edge). Insert the Studio Hook through the mounting holes on your Riley Wood and Fiber Art tool. Slide the hook over the table edge until it fits snugly. Ensure the hook is secure before beginning use. To remove, carefully slide the hook off the surface — do not yank or twist.

Frequently asked questions

What tools do Studio Hooks work with?

Studio Hooks are designed to fit Riley Wood and Fiber Art hackles, raddles, and warping boards. They may also fit other makers' tools — just ask before purchasing and I'll help confirm compatibility.

What surface thickness do Studio Hooks accommodate?

They fit surfaces between ½" and 2¼" thick, which covers most standard workbenches, tables, and loom beams.

Can Studio Hooks be used on a loom beam as well as a table edge?

Yes — any surface with a defined edge between ½" and 2¼" thick works, including loom front and back beams, workbenches, and counter edges. As long as there's a ledge to hook over, you're good to go.

Will Studio Hooks damage my table or loom beam?

No — they hook over the edge without clamping or gripping with force. They're designed to hold firmly through the weight and tension of use, not by biting into the surface.

How many Studio Hooks do I need?

Two — one for each end of the tool. The raddle and hackles each have a ¼" mounting hole on both ends designed specifically for this.
