Shipping policy
Monday through Saturday, orders placed before 9:45 AM are typically shipped the same day. Orders placed after that time will ship the following business day. Domestic orders generally ship via USPS First Class, Ground Advantage, or Priority Mail depending on package weight and destination. International orders generally ship via DHL.
Please note that DHL does not deliver to PO Boxes. International orders requiring DHL shipping must have a physical street address at checkout.
Free shipping is available on orders of $35 or more — your order will ship via my choice of carrier, typically USPS Ground Advantage. Drive band material ships in small bubble-lined mailers and costs $2.50 and is eligible for free shipping when the order total reaches $35.
International shipping rates at checkout are estimates. If I'm able to ship your order for less than what you paid, I'll refund the difference to your original payment method — no need to ask.
International orders typically arrive within 7–21 business days depending on destination and customs processing times.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or VAT upon arrival in the destination country. For most international orders, these charges are calculated and collected at checkout so there are no surprise fees upon delivery. Riley Wood & Fiber Art ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) via DHL for supported destinations. However, duty and tax collection at checkout may not be available for all destinations or order types. For any orders where duties are not collected at checkout, these charges remain the responsibility of the customer upon delivery. I recommend checking with your local customs office if you have any questions about import requirements in your country.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs if items are returned for any reason.
Orders may be cancelled at any time before a shipping label has been created and paid for. To request a cancellation, contact me immediately at jason@rileywoodandfiberart.com. Once a label has been purchased, the order cannot be cancelled and must go through the standard return process if applicable.
Delivery Responsibility & Shipping Terms
Once an order has been shipped and marked as delivered by the carrier to the address provided at checkout, Riley Wood & Fiber Art is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout. Orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses are not eligible for replacement or refund.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or failure to collect from the carrier, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Shipping times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Riley Wood & Fiber Art is not responsible for carrier delays once a package has been shipped, including delays during peak seasons such as the November–December holiday period.
If a package is lost in transit, customers must allow sufficient time for the carrier investigation process before a claim can be filed — typically 15–30 days for USPS domestic shipments, or per DHL's claims process for international shipments. I will assist with filing claims when applicable.
For orders over $150, I may require signature confirmation upon delivery.
Chargebacks filed for orders marked as delivered by the carrier will be disputed using tracking and delivery confirmation.
