Installing your new Majacraft drive band is simple—just remove your old band and pop the new one onto your drive wheel and flyer whorl. The precision-cut length ensures a perfect fit for your specific model, so there's no measuring, cutting, or fusing required. The high-grip surface provides excellent traction for consistent treadling and reliable fiber take-up without slipping or chatter.

DIY Option:

If you prefer to cut and fuse your own drive band, you can purchase drive band material by the foot in 1/8" diameter, 3/32" diameter, or green 1/8" diameter.

Care & Maintenance:

To maximize the life of your drive band, keep your drive wheel and flyer whorl clean and free of debris. Inspect your drive band regularly for signs of wear, stretching, or damage. Replace promptly if you notice excessive wear, cracking, or loss of tension. Store spare bands in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent degradation.
