GENERAL PRODUCT SAFETY REGULATION (GPSR) INFORMATION

Intended Use:
Handcrafted decorative wooden wall hanging intended for indoor wall display.

Because this piece is handcrafted from natural wood, variations in grain, color, figure, texture, carved details, and handmade character are expected.


CAUTION — WALL-MOUNTED DECORATIVE OBJECT

Improper installation could allow the artwork to fall and cause injury or property damage.

• Installation should be performed by an adult

• Use mounting hardware appropriate for the wall construction and capable of safely supporting the artwork

• Use an appropriate wall anchor or fasten into a suitable wall stud where necessary

• Do not install over beds, cribs, play areas, seating areas, or other locations where a falling object could cause injury

• Keep children and pets away from the artwork during installation

• This is decorative wall art, not a toy


BEFORE INSTALLATION

Inspect the wall hanging before mounting.

Do not install or display the piece if:

• The wooden body is cracked, split, severely warped, or structurally damaged

• A projecting dowel is loose, cracked, broken, or damaged

• A carved area is structurally damaged or contains hazardous splinters

• The rear keyhole slot is cracked, damaged, or weakened

• Sharp damaged edges are present

• Any condition could interfere with secure mounting or safe display


WALL MOUNTING

The artwork includes an integrated keyhole slot on the rear for wall mounting.

Use a screw and mounting method appropriate for the wall construction and weight of the artwork.

If mounting into drywall:

• Use an appropriate wall anchor unless the screw is secured directly into a suitable wall stud

• Confirm the anchor and screw are firmly installed before hanging the artwork

Do not rely on loose, undersized, damaged, or inappropriate mounting hardware.


KEYHOLE INSTALLATION

To mount the artwork:

• Support the artwork securely

• Align the wide opening of the keyhole slot with the installed screw head

• Carefully place the artwork over the screw head

• Slide the artwork into the narrow portion of the keyhole slot until fully seated

• Confirm the artwork rests securely against the wall

• Gently test the installation before releasing the piece completely

Do not force an oversized screw head into the keyhole slot.

Do not enlarge, carve, or otherwise modify the keyhole slot to accommodate incompatible mounting hardware.


SECURE INSTALLATION

After mounting, confirm that:

• The keyhole slot is fully engaged with the mounting screw

• The artwork does not lift away from the screw unexpectedly

• The mounting hardware does not move or loosen

• The artwork rests securely against the wall

• The piece does not rock or shift excessively

Periodically inspect the mounting hardware, especially after the artwork has been bumped, moved, removed, or reinstalled.


PROJECTING WOODEN DOWELS

The artwork includes projecting wooden dowels that extend outward from the main wooden body.

These projecting elements create the dimensional radiating design and may present impact or snagging hazards if the artwork is installed in an unsuitable location.

• Handle projecting dowels carefully

• Do not pull, twist, bend, or use a dowel as a carrying point

• Do not lift the artwork by the projecting dowels

• Avoid striking the dowels against walls, furniture, floors, or other objects

• Do not install where people are likely to walk into, brush against, or catch clothing on the projecting elements

• Keep the projecting elements away from the face and eyes during handling

A broken or damaged dowel may create a sharper edge or splinter hazard.


CARVED HEXAGONAL DETAILS

The artwork includes carved geometric areas as part of the decorative design.

• Do not insert fingers or objects into carved recesses

• Do not pry, cut, drill, or alter carved areas

• Handle carved edges carefully if the artwork has been dropped or damaged

• Inspect carved sections periodically for cracking, splintering, or other damage

If a carved area develops a sharp or unstable damaged edge, discontinue normal handling until the condition has been corrected.


PLACEMENT

Choose the display location carefully.

Do not install:

• Over a bed

• Over a crib

• Over a child's play area

• Directly above regularly occupied seating

• In a narrow walkway

• At a height or location where projecting dowels are likely to contact a person's face or body

• Where doors, furniture, or other moving objects can repeatedly strike the artwork

• On an unstable or unsuitable wall

• Near open flames or significant heat sources


HANDLING

When carrying or installing the artwork:

• Support the main wooden body

• Do not carry the piece by a projecting dowel

• Do not carry the artwork by the keyhole slot

• Keep a secure grip during installation or removal

• Avoid dropping or striking the artwork

• Take care that projecting elements do not contact nearby people or objects


INDOOR DISPLAY ONLY

Display in a clean, dry indoor environment.

Avoid:

• Excessive humidity

• Prolonged moisture exposure

• Rapid temperature changes

• Excessive heat

• Open flames

• Prolonged direct sunlight where practical

Natural wood may expand or contract slightly in response to changes in temperature and humidity.


NATURAL WOOD

Natural variations may include:

• Grain

• Color

• Figure

• Texture

• Surface appearance

• Minor variations in carved and projecting elements

These variations are expected and are part of the handcrafted character of the artwork.

Discontinue display if structural cracking, severe warping, splitting, or hazardous splintering develops.


CARE

• Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth

• Take care around projecting dowels while cleaning

• Do not pull or bend projecting elements

• Use care around carved recesses and edges

• Do not use abrasive pads or cleaners

• Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents

• Do not soak or wash the artwork

• Avoid excessive moisture

• Periodically inspect the projecting dowels, carved areas, wooden body, keyhole slot, and wall-mounting hardware


STORAGE

If the artwork is removed from the wall:

• Store in a clean, dry indoor location

• Protect the projecting dowels from impact or bending

• Protect carved areas from impact

• Do not place heavy objects on the artwork

• Do not stack objects against the projecting elements

• Protect the keyhole slot from damage

• Keep away from excessive heat and moisture

• Store where children or pets cannot accidentally contact the projecting elements


DISCONTINUE DISPLAY

Remove the artwork from display if:

• The keyhole slot becomes cracked or damaged

• Mounting hardware becomes loose or unstable

• The wooden body develops significant structural cracking, splitting, or severe warping

• A projecting dowel becomes loose, broken, cracked, or dangerously sharp

• A carved section becomes structurally damaged or develops a hazardous edge

• Hazardous splinters develop

• Any condition develops that could interfere with secure mounting or safe display
